I don't want to add ATA 133, as the hard drive is ATA 33. I thought is should work, but Maxtor feels that the hard drive is the problem because it is ATA 33 Maxtor probably has its collective head where the sun doesn't shine. I put my 2 hard disks on the promise and left the Combo Dvd Cd r rw and the Zip Drive on the old Ides . I don't use the Cd or Zip very much. I don't think they support udma 100 (?). I have win2000 on one drive and MDK 9.0 on the other. I can remember whether i re installed from the disto CDs but I think not.
