If anybody has any ideas what I'm doing wrong, or has ideas where to look (or who to ask) for answers, or ANYTHING, please let me know. What kernel are you using, my gues is a 2.2 just take a 2.4 kernel compile it with promise pdc 20265/20267 support and youre drive is up. Roel.

Can anybody help me: I have motherboard Asus P3V4X, PIII, HDD IBM DTLA307045 on Promise Ultra100Tx2 controller, OS Win2000 server. Max hdd transfer rate is 22Mb/s (both physical and cached). Without Ultra100Tx2 I got 37Mb/s physical and 65Mb/s cached hdd transfer rate. Results from WinBench 99. What is the problem?

I finally bought a Promise 100TX2 IDE controller for my BP6. I am unable to get the W98 drivers installed using the instructions in the manual. My olny other open PCI slot is slot 1, which is shared with the AGP slot. So, how do get the Promise Ultra100TX2 drivers installed and working? Alan.

MB is Supermicro SuperPIIIDM3 The error message, displayed after I select the top entry from the boot menu, is: "Windows 2000 could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
